These are sounds from a bus trip from PA to MD and the sound of the outdoors when I arrived in MD. I have a deep appreciation of the outdoors, and often rely on 'outdoor' or 'rainy afternoon' recordings to help me sleep, escape from migranes, and ease the tinnitus I suffer as a regular payment for living in Philadelphia. A lot of these recordings I've listened too are seperated from their source. You'll notice a lot of 15 second-1 minutes of sound looped from between 20 minutes to 8 hours. These are my own recordings, and I've used significantly less 'looping' than you may see elsewhere. In total the source recordings totaled over 45 minutes, I cut out conversations, machine noise (as best as possible for a bus trip), clicks snaps or distracting things, and cleaned up the balance as best I could considering the equipment used.
the very opening few minutes is from the end of the trip, and they come back appropriately, I fade into the night sounds when I arrived, taking into account you and I don't want to hear various doors open on Busses, and cars. The sound was recorded from June 10th at 4PM until before 1AM on June 11th. It was assembled, reflected upon, and mixed down at various points through out June, and released Today July 2nd, 2013.
